چکیده
Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease known by chronic hyperglycemia which results from defective insulin action and secretion. Metabolic Syndrome consists of constellation abnormalities that confer increased risk diabetes mellitus. The aim our study to find out whether non-invasive, clinically measurable surrogates could be useful in identifying body fat distribution help predict syndrome compare the performance anthropometric indices with lipid diabetes.
Methods: 50 individuals ,50 type 2 controls were selected purposive sampling technique. For cases history was taken, physical examination done .Fasting blood sugar, Serum High density lipoprotein Triglyceride levels estimated. Body mass index, shape visceral adiposity accumulation factor calculated.
Results: mean values significantly (p<0.001) compared controls.
Conclusion: Our concluded better than like index predicting Anthropometric when used should correlated variables clinical symptoms.
